View April 2023 General Fund Monthly Report
For Fiscal Year 2023, when compared to the prior year through April 30, North Carolina experienced an increase in General Fund receipts which include tax and non-tax receipts. Tax revenues increased by $15.6 million or 0.1 percent, and non-tax revenues increased by $298 million, or 37.8 percent as compared to the previous year.
The General Fund’s unreserved fund balance as of April 2023 was $5.9 billion as compared to $8.2 billion as of April 2022.
