SFTP Upgrade 2017

ACTION REQUIRED ON 12/09: State of North Carolina SFTP

North Carolina Office of the State Controller is upgrading its SFTP Server on December 9, 2017 and has identified you as a client that exchanges data via this server. You will need to take immediate action to prevent interruption.

IP address/domain name of the new server and your credentials (username and password) will NOT change but the initial connection will generate a one-time message that must be acknowledged.

The initial connection to the new SFTP server will request the acceptance of a new key fingerprint. This request can be presented in various forms but it will always indicate that you are attempting to connect to an unknown server and ask for acceptance of the new Key Fingerprint. You must enter ‘yes’ to complete the connection.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:
The authenticity of host can’t be established.
DSA key fingerprint is SHA256: …
DSA key fingerprint is MD5: ...
Are you sure you want to continue connection (yes/no)?
You are currently connecting to the State Controllers sftp server with userid: USRI182
