OM200 - Organizational Management Overview

OM200 provides agency HR users with a high level overview of organization management - structure, associated objects, and infotypes.

This class is part of the process for obtaining the Agency Position Funding Approver, OM Position Approver, or OM Position Requestor security role.  To acquire the role you must do the following:

  • A Security Request must be submitted by the Agency's Data Owner to create/change roles assigned to an employee's position.  The required training classes must be completed before the position gains security access to the requested role.

At the conclusion of this course participants will:

  • Define Organizational Management (OM)
  • Identify components of the OM structure
  • Display an organizational structure in the HR-Payroll system
  • Identify OM reports

Technology Requirements:

  • In VILT courses, a web camera enhances the training experience, but an audio connection and dual monitors are a must. If you do not have the ability to connect via a microphone, you must be able to connect via phone. If your computer cannot use two monitors at the same time, your manager must make arrangements with our training team prior to attending class. Two monitors allow you to have your student guide or instructors screen on one monitor while classroom activities are performed on the other.
