Business Objects (BOBJ) is a suite of reporting tools that is an efficient and effective means of providing knowledge and oversight to agencies on Human Resource processes and key performance indicators.  It allows business users to view, sort and analyze business intelligence data.  In this course you will learn BOBJ report navigation, the functionality of the WEBI Design Mode component within BOBJ, and how to run BOBJ reports in the production environment.

At the conclusion of this course participants will:

  • Open a WEBI report and change to design mode to analyze and explore data
  • Add Columns and Variables to WEBI Reports
  • Add Tables and Charts to WEBI Reports
  • Save a WEBI report to My Favorites Folder for future access
  • Create a Variant

Technology Requirements:

  • In VILT courses, a web camera enhances the training experience, but an audio connection and dual monitors are a must. If you do not have the ability to connect via a microphone, you must be able to connect via phone. If your computer cannot use two monitors at the same time, your manager must make arrangements with our training team prior to attending class. Two monitors allow you to have your student guide or instructors screen on one monitor while classroom activities are performed on the other.
