PA310 - Create and Maintain Employee Data

NOTE: Only individuals with active pending security role requests for HR Master Data Maintainer will be granted admission to the class session.

PA310 provides the method of creating new employee data and updating existing employee data in SAP. Also included are discussions on how history is created.

This class is part of the process for obtaining the HR Master Data Maintainer security role.  To acquire this role you must do the following:

  • A Security Request must be submitted by the Agency's Data Owner to create/change roles assigned to an employee's position.  The required training classes must be completed before the position gains security access to the requested role.

At the conclusion of this course participants will:

  • Describe the process for the various Actions
  • Create new records associated with the life cycle of an employee
  • Modify existing employee data
  • Understand Workflow from the beginning of the process to completion

Technology Requirements:

  • In VILT courses, a web camera enhances the training experience, but an audio connection and dual monitors are a must. If you do not have the ability to connect via a microphone, you must be able to connect via phone. If your computer cannot use two monitors at the same time, your manager must make arrangements with our training team prior to attending class. Two monitors allow you to have your student guide or instructors screen on one monitor while classroom activities are performed on the other.
