TM230 - Time Management Overview

Class Description Details

TM230 web-based training (WBT) is intended to provide participants with an overview of the terms, concepts, knowledge and skills associated with the Time Management functions in the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System. The course duration is approximately 2 hours and is a prerequisite for the TM300 and TM310 classes.

This class is part of the process for obtaining the Time Administrator  or Leave Administration security roles.  To acquire security role(s) you must do the following:

  • A Security Request must be submitted by the Agency's Data Owner to create/change roles assigned to an employee's position.  The required training classes must be completed before the position gains security access to the requested role.

At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to describe:

  • The Time Administration process
  • Time Management roles and responsibilities
  • Time Management terms and concepts
  • Premium Pay eligibility and calculations
  • Leave Quotas
  • Important system behaviors for Time
  • Charge Objects
