IE01 WBT - Understanding Information Expert in the NCAS Environment

IE01 is a web based training that will walk you through a step by step process of how to use Information Expert in the NCAS Environment. You can start and stop the web-based training as often as you like and/or you may also refer to the attached documents and follow the step by step processes. Information Expert is the primary mainframe reporting tool used to access data in the North Carolina Accounting System, or NCAS. Most of the standard daily, monthly and annual reports are generated using Information Expert. The Office of the State Controller provides user versions of these reports accessible by agencies. These reports can be generated with broadened or narrowed data ranges to meet the agency’s needs. Information Expert reports can be run on current data that resides in the online files, or purged data residing on historical backups.
